Here, we will test the overarching hypothesis that Carbonic Anhydrase Inhibitors have the potential to prevent mitochondrial and cell death pathways induced by the deposition of Aβ in its intramural periarterial drainage pathways around the cerebral SMCs, preventing/delaying CAA.
